A Place of Acceptance, Connection, and Unconditional Love
Peyton’s Place at the Seven Rays Ranch was founded by Chad and Rebecca Ray with a heartfelt vision: to create a sanctuary where children with autism and other special needs can experience the joy of animal-assisted activities while their families find support, connection, and a sense of belonging.
As parents of five children—Ethan, Katie, Mary, Colt, and Peyton—ranging in age from 4 to 28, we understand the joys and challenges of raising a family. Through our journey, we realized how often families of children with special needs can feel isolated, with much of their time devoted to therapies, appointments, and caregiving. We wanted to create a place where families could step away from the daily grind, experience moments of joy together, and build relationships with others who understand their journey.
At Peyton’s Place, we believe in the power of connection—between children and animals, between families, and within a supportive community. Our farm is designed to be a welcoming, judgment-free space where every child is embraced for who they are. Through interactions with our gentle farm animals, children can build confidence, develop social and emotional skills, and simply enjoy being in a peaceful, nurturing environment. Whether it’s brushing a cow, feeding a pig, or simply sitting beside a friendly animal, every moment here is meant to uplift and empower.
But Peyton’s Place is more than just a barn—it’s a legacy. We wanted this farm to be something that not only benefits children and families today but also stands as a lasting gift for our own children. Our hope is that our kids will continue to carry forward the mission of acceptance, inclusion, and love for generations to come.
At Peyton’s Place at the Seven Rays Ranch, every child is valued, every family is welcomed, and every visit is a reminder that they are never alone.
We invite you to be part of our community—where love, faith, and the gentle
presence of animals help create a place where all belong.
At Peyton’s Place at the Seven Rays Ranch, our mission is to create a sanctuary where children on the autism spectrum and with other special needs can experience the healing power of animal-assisted activities in a nurturing and accepting environment. We believe that every child deserves to feel valued, included, and celebrated for exactly who they are—without judgment and without the need for apology.
Through meaningful interactions with our farm animals, we provide unique opportunities for children to build confidence, develop social and emotional skills, and form connections in a way that feels natural and safe. Our animals serve as patient, loving companions, offering comfort, encouragement, and unconditional acceptance. Each experience is designed to instill a sense of accomplishment, peace, and belonging.
Rooted in faith and guided by God’s grace, Peyton’s Place is a place where children and families can come as they are, free from judgment or expectations. We strive to create an atmosphere of encouragement, where abilities are recognized and celebrated, and where everyone is treated with kindness and respect. Our goal is to provide a space where children can be themselves, grow in confidence, and experience the joy of meaningful connections.
Our mission is simple: to provide a place where all are accepted, where abilities are celebrated, and where no one feels the need to apologize for who they are. At Peyton’s Place at the Seven Rays Ranch, every child is seen, heard, and deeply loved.
